WHAT IS 28 Project?28プロジェクトとは

In Japan, many women have their first child around the age of 30. This is often a time when they begin to consider how to balance their careers and family responsibilities. We share this perspective with our students and encourage them to think independently about their future.

We call this approach the “28 Project.” It is designed to help students envision the kind of person they want to become by the age of 28 and to begin making thoughtful choices toward that goal. Through this process, we aim to nurture individuals who can contribute meaningfully to society. This is the goal of our education.

In Japan, women have their first child around 30 years old. So, Japanese women begin to think about both their childbearing responsibilities and their careers when they are about 30 years old. We tell this to our students and encourage them to think about their future on their own. We call this style of education "28 project." We educate our students to be women who can make a contribution to our society when they are 28 years old. This is our goal.

平均的な日本の女性の第１子の出産は30歳位のため、女性は、28歳頃に出産を考え、それに伴い自分のキャリアについて考えなくてはならない時期が到来することになります。私の学校では、生徒達にこの28歳の人生のターニングポイントを伝え、それぞれが自分の将来を考え準備させる教育を積極的に行っています。この教育活動を「28project」と呼んでいます。生徒達が28歳になったときに、社会に貢献できる女性に成長している、これが私達の学校の目指している卒業生像です。
